This code of conduct outlines our expectations for behavior to ensure that everyone can participate in a safe and respectful manner. 1. Expected Behavior: All participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers, are expected to: • Show respect and consideration for all people, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or other characteristics. • Engage in a way that promotes a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere. • Be mindful of their words and actions, avoiding behaviors that are harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate. 2. Unacceptable Behavior: The following behaviors are considered unacceptable at NashJS: • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form. • Offensive or degrading comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, or disability. • Any form of violence, threats, or verbal abuse. • Unwelcome sexual attention, including inappropriate touching, or unwanted advances. • Disruptive behavior that interferes with the event experience for others. 3. Reporting Violations: If you observe or experience any behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it to a member of the NashJS team immediately. Consequences: Anyone found to be violating the code of conduct may face consequences, including but not limited to: • A verbal or written warning. • Immediate removal from the event without a refund. • A permanent ban from future NashJS events. 5.
